Both wheatgrass and barley grass, and in fact all grass's per se are a rich sources of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll: perhaps best known for its amazing de-toxing, and blood-purifying abilities, is liquid sunshine made by plants - the plant's blood life. All food on the planet, whether animal or vegetable derived, directly, or indirectly - comes from chlorophyll. And even more amazing is the fact that chlorophyll is a chemical cousin to hemin. Hemin is part of hemoglobin, the red iron rich oxygen carrying portion of human blood.
